1 Preparation

1.1 Installation Package

Option 1: Offline Pack

Step 1: Click on e-office_v11.0.0.0_20230508_offline to initiate the download for offline installation package

Step 2: Right-click, click “Extract Here” to get the installer.

Option 2: Online Pack

Step 1: Click on https://service.e-office.cn/download

Step 2: Click on "立即下载" to download the e-office installation pack.

1.2. Firewall

Step 1: Press the Windows Key on your keyboard or click the Start button in the bottom-left corner of your screen or click the search bar next to the Start button on the taskbar.

Step 2: Type “Window Defender Firewall” and click on it to open the program.

Step 3: Click “Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off”.

Step 4: Turn off both of the firewall and click OK to save the settings made.

1.3 Confirm Installation Path

1.3.1 Check if Drive D: exists?

Step 1: Open File Explorer, under This PC > (D:) exists? or click “This PC”, check whether D: exists under “Device and drives”

1.3.2 Confirm if a new disk can be created

Check if it's possible to create a D: drive? Note that when using Instances on Cloud Servers, there may be limitations in creating a new drive depending on the provider e.g.: Tecent.
